Palazzo Barocci Hotel - Venice

The location was stunning for walking around a wide canal. The premium queen room was tastefully decorated and had a mini fridge bar, an air conditioning and a personal safe.

The breakfast served was very good and excellent with champagne and prosecco. The property's location was great, right in front of the vaporetto station. Plus it was 5 mins drive from bacino Orseolo.

the junior suite was fabulous, direct view on the canal grande, excellent beds, super service both at the reception, with room service, during breakfast and at the bar. The breakfast offer leaves nothing to be desired. Katrin at the bar, who also prepared tasty small dishes herself, is worthy of special mention.

the substitution that took care of the bar on Katrin's day off was a crash compared to Katrin's performance.

amazing views and walking distance to top attractions

We found this hotel to be perfect for exploring Venice with easy access to major sights like the iconic Campanile di San Marco and the fine Bridge of Sighs, both just a short stroll away. Plus, the friendly concierge helped us find great dining spots.

Direct mooring of waterbuses with high noise pollution

Particularly good location directly at the vaporetto stop. Beautiful garden where you can also have breakfast or relax from long walks. Breakfast is very good. Nice waitress.

I can't think of anything

The situation is hard to beat: Directly next to the vaporetto station S. Angelo, "once fall over" and you are at the Teatro Fenice or at the Accademia and also S. Marco is not a quarter of an hour away ! The hotel staff is extremely friendly.

The room could have been bigger, but then we would have had to pay a different price !? :-)

The essentials, minus the fluff

This hotel boasts an excellent location directly on the Grand Canal, with the vapporetto stop right at the door-a rare find! The spacious rooms are well-furnished, and the breakfast selection is varied and delicious. The staff is amicable and eager to assist were great.

Location's great. One can reach all attractions by foot or by waterbus in a short time.

The friendliness of the receptionists was excellent and we had an unforgettable evening the restaurant - a great hotel!

The balcony view was amazing.

Breakfast on Sundays is till 12!!! Otherwise until 11 o'clock. You can also stay until 3 o'clock with extra charge, late checkout is super to rest for a short time before traveling again. Very nice staff. Super helpful. Good English

A fine hotel with an unbelievable view of the Grand Canal. The Junior Suite had high ceilings and a luxurious bathtub. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast spread with sliced tropical fruits were highlights. The absence of an onsite evening restaurant can make dining more challenging after a day of exploring.
